About BCS

BCS ÖKO-GARANTIE GMBH is licenced as a private controlling agency since May 11th 1992 to implement Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2092/91. We are one of the first control bodies in Germany. Long standing experience and personal engagement in all areas of organic production are the reliable basis of BCS.

Our central office is in Nürnberg/Germany. We are represented in all continents with a number of offices and representations.

BCS ÖKO-GARANTIE currently employs more than 100 experts for inspections and certification of production, processing and trade according to a number of standards. If requested, BCS ÖKO-GARANTIE also supervises and evaluates contract conditions, guidelines, and licence payments for different organisations and trade mark holders.

BCS ÖKO-GARANTIE offers a seal for BCS certified companies, in order to help them distinguish their products in the market. The BCS seal is an easily recognizable sign for the customer to identify high quality organic products.
